It's right here:
Maybe you could fly within a zone, but then all the area quest progression they've built goes out the window. Flying mounts killed world pvp in WoW, and were a horrible idea. They work in PvE only games, but take away any exploration, or any jump exploration (think GW2). They would not work in Neverwinter because each zone is public instancedGuild Wars 2 Skyscale Mount Riding Skyscales (part 8). 2–Fireball. Grants an aerial flame attack while mounted on the skyscale. 3–Wall Spring 2.0. Grants Wall Launch. Upgrades Wall Launch to charge faster and launch farther. 4–Wind Beneath Your Wings. Flying mounts can use updrafts. 5–Combat Launch. Gain the ability to mount your skyscale in combat.60% flying will be 100% flying and available at level 60. 280% flying will not change. A tome that can be bought at level 80 will allow a level 70+ to learn cold weather. If you don't have an 80 you still need to wait til 77. Reply With Quote. 2009-08-01, 11:50 PM #12. kankco.
There is a lot of information out there about: How to obtain flying. I am hoping Blizzard will respond directly for clarity to the returning community. I know for me it has been over a decade since I actually got involved and learned anything about World of Warcraft… One of the biggest obstacles in returning is getting used to the camera follow again. As such I have walked away wishing I was
Really hoping we get normal flying mounts, having to be grounded for like a minute to regenerate vigour is kind of boring. I don’t understand why it couldn’t just instantly replenish when you would go back onto the ground like the skyscale mount in guild wars 2. And while some may not matter (fall distance survival for Springer, for example), to do the best at this new form of combat you're going to want all the masteries that DO boost your skyscale, as well as the additional mastery line that gives added mount abilities like the flying dismount.
